WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for The Walking Dead: World Beyond Season 2, Episode 4, “Family Is a Four Letter Word,” which aired Sunday on AMC.

“Family Is a Four Letter Word” picks up right where last week’s episode finished. It features Huck smuggling Hope out of the CRM facility to see Iris and the others at the Perimeter community. It’s significant because, other than Silas, everyone from Season 1 is back together in this episode, and a few people haven’t even remotely forgiven Huck for what she did. In fact, it’s more than once that she nearly pays for her actions with her life.

When she first shows up, Felix doesn’t trust her in the slightest. He thinks that she is only there to try and flush them out of hiding and then report their position back to her mother, Colonel Kublek. Even though he doesn’t trust her, he understands how precarious their position is. That, however, didn’t stop him from making his intentions clear.

World Beyond Felix Attacks Huck

As Huck goes out for a walk after dark, Felix goes with her. Then, he hits her over the head and pins her to the ground. Poised for the kill with no one to stop him, Felix pulls up. In a tense moment, he tells her that he wants to know what it will feel like when he eventually kills her. He understands that he cannot take his revenge at that time, but by doing what he did, he has effectively put Huck on notice.

After her years’ worth of lying as an undercover agent at the Campus Colony, it’s understandable that Felix wouldn’t trust Huck, but later in the episode, another character tries to take a step further. When Huck first arrives, Percy sees her from a distance and vows to make good on his opportunity for revenge. The last time that Percy saw her, she shot him and killed his uncle. So, when he sees Huck go out into the darkness, Percy makes for the armory and takes a rife.

World Beyond Percy with a rifle

When Will – whose being alive is still a secret to Huck – and Felix notice that Percy is missing, they know exactly what he wants to do. They would like Huck dead too, but right then, they cannot afford to have her killed. If Huck doesn’t make it back to the CRM, all hell will break loose before anyone is ready to fight. So, they go out to stop Percy and save Huck’s life.

When Will spots Percy drawing a bead on Huck, he nonchalantly places himself in between Percy and his target. By doing so, Will outed that he was still alive, but it also kept Percy’s being alive a secret, for what that’s worth. Thus, a dangerous situation is avoided. Later in the episode, Percy is ashamed of himself and apologizes to Iris for his short-sighted, vengeance-filled actions. Maybe he is starting to understand being part of a group a little at a time.

To see if someone eventually kills Huck, tune into The Walking Dead: World Beyond. The series airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on AMC and is available to stream early on AMC+.
