With The Walking Dead slated to return for the back half of Season 10 in less than a month, AMC has released new key art featuring some of the long-running Image Comics-based series' most prominent characters.
The first poster features Samantha Morton's Alpha screaming against a black background alongside the tagline "We are the Walking Dead." Three additional banner posters also carrying this tagline were released as well, featuring Melissa McBride's Carol Peletier, Norman Reedus' Daryl Dixon and Danai Gurira's Michonne, respectively.
When the first half of Season 10 wrapped up with "The World Before," Negan escaped to Whisperer territory after years of being imprisoned within Alexandria for leading the violent faction known as the Saviors. Discovered by Beta, Negan has since formed an uneasy alliance with Alpha.
As Daryl comforts Carol ahead of the renewed conflict against the Whisperers, it appears the long-simmering war between the communities will finally come to a head when the AMC series returns this February with "Squeeze."
The Walking Dead stars Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Cooper Andrews, Avi Nash and Samantha Morton. The midseason premiere will air Sunday, Feb. 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
