AMC has just released a fresh promo for "Swear," this week's episode of "The Walking Dead." Though short, the "Weeks Ahead" trailer has a lot of sizzle and even some zombies. In it, Negan proclaims, "We bring civilization back to this world" -- although, as we all know now, Negan's way comes with a heavy price.

It looks like Rick and his crew are also having problems coming up with supplies. As Rick puts it, "We have today, and only today, to find something." Let's hope for the sake of everyone left at Alexandria they don't come up empty when Negan next comes to call.

On the other hand, the low-key "Swear" clip focuses on Tara (Alanna Masterson) and Heath (Corey Hawkins). The two characters have been on a supply run together since the end of Season 6, an absence that has kept them safe from -- but ignorant of -- Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his violent new regime.

Though some would like to think that the pair might have found a lot of useful new stuff during their long time away — especially since Negan's Saviors are now going to to be taking half of whatever they bring home — that doesn't seem to be the case. As Heath says, "There's nothing left out here."

The conversation then turns dark as Heath reflects on the people their community killed at the Satellite Station back in Season 6. This is a timely and not so subtle reminder that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his crew killed a whole lot of Saviors before Negan's baseball bat came crashing down.
