ARROWThe CW has released new "Arrow" season two cast portraits including the core cast as well as new series regulars Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes and Manu Bennett.

Meanwhile, Flash TV News spoke with "Arrow" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg about casting Grant Gustin as Barry Allen in the upcoming season.

"With Arrow, we wrote [the role] without anybody in mind," Kreisberg told Flash TV News. "This time, as we were writing these episodes, we cast Grant in the middle of it. ... We met with a lot of other really talented people. Not just talented, but good guys, and it was funny, because as each of us -- Geoff [Johns] and Greg [Berlanti] and I -- were working on individual scenes, we all sort of came together and said 'we're all writing Grant.' It was just him. That was different, because now when we go into writing the actual pilot in Episode 20, we already have our guy, and we've already seen him on the screen, so hopefully we'll actually literally be able to look at things and learn."

FANTASTIC FOURSimon Kinberg has been tapped to pen the new "Fantastic Four" film directed by Josh Trank. AGENT CARTERDigital Spy spoke with Hayley Atwell about whether she'd be interested in joining up with the rumored "Agent Carter" television series, which she was of course enthusiastic about.

"I read about that too. The one-shot was so successful, the fanbase were like, 'We want more of Peggy!'" Atwell told Digital Spy. "I think Marvel probably take that very seriously, and it's certainly something I would be a part of doing. I'd be interested to show different sides of Peggy. Although she's kick-ass, and she can be aggressive and she can be just as competent as the men, it'd be nice to show that she's a feminist in a way. It's not just about her being aggressive and as aggressive as the men in those action sequences, but being able to be a little bit more rounded as a person."

Atwell also revealed that she had filmed new footage earlier this year for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.A familiar face made his way to "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." last night. During the series' second episode "0-8-4," there was a surprise cameo at the show's conclusion by a very familiar face to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, increasing the tether between the show and the films.

Unfortunately, the ratings for the show weren't nearly as impressive as they were for the pilot -- it drew in 8.4 million total viewers and scored a 3.1 demo rating, dropping 31 and 34 percent, respectively.

KINDERGARTEN HEROESMark Millar's "Kindergarten Heroes" is currently in development for a film at 20th Century Fox. The film, produced by Simon Kinberg with a screenplay be Carter Blanchard, is based on a "kid-centric hybrid of comic book iconography and picture book pacing" by Millar and illustrator Curtis Tiegs, which has not yet been released.

"This is a live-action movie based on the children's book I put together with Curtis Tiegs a year or two back, planned as a franchise from Fox with the mighty Kinberg on producer duties," Millar wrote on his Millarworld message board. "White-hot screenwriter Carter Blanchard is doing the screenplay, snapped up by Spielberg for his most recent gig, and this is all looking very cool indeed."
