Time travel can often be a rather convoluted plot device, and The Umbrella Academy is no stranger to this. Luckily, Netflix has released a new infographic that showcases the effects the Hargreeves siblings have had on historical events.

The infographic was released by Netflix on Twitter. "Before your next time hop, make sure you have this [Umbrella Academy] season 1 and 2 timeline on hand," the streaming giant teased.

The infographic stretches all the way from 1910 to the far future of 2070 and features several key events. These events are marked with a different color; blue is for the main timeline, orange is for Klaus' trip to Vietnam, and yellow is for the original apocalypse.

The Umbrella Academy begins when Number Five, long though dead, leaps back through time and warns his siblings about an apocalypse that will happen in eight days. The cause of said apocalypse happens to be their own sister Vanya, whose powers cracked open the moon and caused it to collide with Earth. Five pulled his siblings back in time to Dallas 1963, where they ended up temporally separated and living new lives; eventually they band together to prevent a nuclear apocalypse. The Hargreeves then returned to an alternate 2019, where their brother Ben is alive and the head of the Sparrow Academy.

Based on the comic series of the same name by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy stars Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher and Justin H. Min, with Ritu Arya, Yusuf Gatewood, Marin Ireland, Jordan Claire Robbins, Kate Walsh and Colm Feore. Seasons 1 and 2 are now streaming on Netflix.
