The first season of AMC's Ridley Scott-produced horror anthology series The Terror filled screens with tales of naval horror last year, and was well-received by critics and viewers alike. The network looks to build on that success with the upcoming second season, titled The Terror: Infamy.

The Terror: Infamy is set in a Japanese internment camp during World War II. AMC has revealed the first trailer for the season, giving audiences a taste of the dread that lies within.

Infamy centers around a group of Japanese-Americans who are trying to get to the bottom of mysterious deaths inside their community. The inhumanity of the internment camps that they are confined in is interspersed with the supernatural threats of shapeshifters and other malevolent entities.

This mixture of realistic atrocities and mysterious threats is at the core of what The Terror successfully brought in its first season, and from the minute of The Terror: Infamy that we see in the trailer, is likely a crucial element of the series as a whole.
