Joel Kinnaman may have just confirmed he will be reprising his role as Rick Flag in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.

On Instagram, Kinnaman posted an image of himself at a gun range with the caption, "At the range with my great friend and teacher @kevinlvance and Lele the Italian stallion. Easing into that squad preppppp.... thanks @tarantactical for letting us use the range!"

The actor specifically used the word "squad" in his post, and while this is far from an official confirmation, it's safe to assume earlier reports of Kinnaman appearing in The Suicide Squad were accurate.

Kinnaman is a Swedish/American actor known for his roles in 2011's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, 2014's RoboCop and 2016's Edge of Winter. The actor will also appear in Andrea Di Stefano's upcoming action/thriller The Informer.

The Suicide Squad is being called a reboot of 2016's Suicide Squad, though it will feature many of the original cast members, including Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney and Viola Davis. David Dastmalchian has also been confirmed as Polka-Dot Man, with Daniela Melchior playing Ratcatcher.
