The Suicide Squad writer/director James Gunn lobbed some very high praise in the direction of Harley Quinn actor Margot Robbie.

"Yes. She might be the best actor I've ever worked with," Gunn said on Instagram when a fan asked if he started working with Robbie yet.

The Suicide Squad will mark Robbie's third turn as the havoc creating Harley Quinn, after the previous 2016 film and a turn in the upcoming Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).

Its been a big year for Robbie, who became a household name after her role in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street. Besides appearing in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood this summer, the trailer for the upcoming Birds of Prey was recently released.

Written and directed by James Gunn, The Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters Aug. 6, 2021. Several cast members from 2016's Suicide Squad will reprise their roles, including Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang. Also joining the cast are David Dastmalchian, John Cena, Joaquin Cosio, Nathan Fillion, Mayling Ng, Flula Borg, Sean Gunn, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi, Alice Braga, Steve Agee, Tinashe Kajese, Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, Julio Ruiz, Jennifer Holland, Idris Elba and Michael Rooker.
