The first photos for the CBS All Access adaptation of Stephen King's The Stand have been released, and they feature the all-star cast which includes Alexander Skarsgard, Whoopi Goldberg, Heather Graham and more.

Whoopi Goldberg plays the 108-year-old Mother Abagail. Her photo puts the actor in a creepy dead forest as she leans on a cane; Heather Graham's Rita Blakemoor is joined by Jovan Adepo's Larry Underwood as the duo makes their way through abandoned cars in an empty city; Owen Teague's Harold Lauder and Odessa Young's Frannie Goldsmith sharing a quiet moment together; Alexander Skarsgard's demonic Randall Flagg looking down at Nat Wolff's Lloyd Henreid behind bars; and another look at Odessa Young's expectant mother Frannie Goldsmith.

The Stand is set in a world where 99% of human life is wiped about by a plague and the survivors are in need of a leader. Emerging from the chaos to take leadership are Mother Abigail, a 108-year-old woman who wishes for nothing but peace and community as the figure of good, and Randall Flagg, the "Dark Man" who embodies chaos and violence. The survivors must then choose sides and decide humanity's fate in a struggle between good and evil.

The Stand will air later this year on CBS All Access. Josh Boone will serve as the showrunner along with Benjamin Cavell. The series will star James Marsden, Amber Heard, Alexander Skarsgard, Whoopi Goldberg, Marilyn Manson, Eion Bailey and Heather Graham.
