Virtually every kid who's ever watched "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" has dreamed of riding a speeder bike through the forests of Endor -- or perhaps just down the street -- preferably avoiding trees, logs and pesky Ewoks along the way. Well, the folks at Vintage Works didn't just dream of a speeder bike ... they actually built one.

OK, technically, it's a custom motorcycle, but it still qualifies as a "speeder bike." While this one isn't equipped with blasters, it does feature movie sound effects, as well as dual handlebars that, in addition to steering, control the flaps on the front.

No word yet as to whether this is Empire-approved. Check out the speeder bike in action in the slick video below.
