In Netflix's hit adaptation of Neil Gaiman's iconic dark fantasy comic The Sandman, Chaudhry played Abel, the Biblical son of Adam and Eve. He lives in the Dreaming with his brother Cain (Sanjeev Bhaskar), the two of them perpetually repeating their story of the world's first murder even while serving the Dream King. Abel, as the victim, has a nervous but gentle disposition.

Although The Sandman has been renewed for more episodes and Cain and Abel are recurring characters throughout the source comic, Chaudhry stated in December 2022 that he didn't yet know if he would be reprising the role.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Take One Last Ride

Chaudhry didn't reveal anything about the character he'll be playing in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but he'll be in some good company. Along with series mainstays Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff, Vol. 3 will feature several highly anticipated new MCU additions, including Will Poulter as Adam Warlock and Chukwudi Iwuji's villain the High Evolutionary.

In addition, Daniela Melchior's character made her first appearance in the latest trailer, while director James Gunn put the name "Blurp" to a small furry alien. It's not impossible that Chaudhry's unknown role is the voice of Blurp. Vol. 3 will also introduce Lylla, a cybernetically modified otter with ties to Rocket Raccoon.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be the second film in Phase Five of the MCU, and the third and final theatrical entry in Gunn's Guardians franchise, wrapping up the story of the current version of the team and possibly saying a permanent goodbye to one or more of its beloved characters. The movie chronologically follows The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which premiered on Disney+ last year.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives in theaters on May 5, 2023.
