Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared a behind-the-scenes photo offering the best look yet at his Black Adam suit.

"This image of Black Adam from behind gives you a tactile sense of the absolute massive scale and size of our movie," Johnson wrote to accompany an image of himself in costume surveying the film's set. "You also see a little of the intricate and beautiful textured detail of Black Adam’s body suit. [This is not your typical DC or Marvel padded muscle suit.] And finally you get a glimpse of the enormous and appropriate destruction."

"As we all know, superheroes have a code of justice and don’t kill the bad guys. But, Black Adam does," he continued. As with his earlier Black Adam posts on social media, Johnson finished by promising, "The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is changing."

Johnson has provided frequent updates on his intense training program through the film's production, breaking down his fitness regime and Black Adam diet in rich detail. Recently, Johnson shared another behind-the-scenes photo of him posing on the movie's set while praising director Jaume Collet-Serra and cinematographer Lawrence Sher for designing "very cutting edge, intricate, bad ass and cool shots" that highlight his physique in motion. In a separate post, he revealed an image of makeup artist Bjoern Rehbein applying white tracking dots to "very specific areas" of Johnson's body. This is to allow the film's VFX team to "track and compute [Johnson's] muscle fibers intensely activating and moving while Black Adam is raging to seek [and] destroy his enemies."

While these updates reveal little about Black Adam's story, it's confirmed the movie will introduce the Justice Society of America to the big screen, including the superheroes Atom Smasher, Doctor Fate and Hawkman. Recently, Black Adam star Sarah Shahi revealed the film will also feature Intergang, a criminal organization that's powered by Apokoliptian technology in the DC Comics Universe.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz, with Mo Amer, Marwan Kenzari, Bodhi Sabongui, James Cusati-Moyer and Uli Latukefu. The film arrives in theaters July 29, 2022.
