The coronavirus outbreak has millions of people huddled up in their homes, working remotely through applications such as Zoom and Slack. So it was only a matter of time before someone jumped on the opportunity to create a TV show about that experience.

According to Deadline, former The Office producers Ben Silverman and Paul Lieberstein are currently developing a  virtual workplace comedy series. It will follow a group of employees who are forced by their boss to virtually work together face-to-face all day. The series has no network or cast attached.

"So many of us are jumping on daily Zoom meetings — for work and beyond," Silverman said. "We are in a new normal and are personally navigating ways to remain connected and productive at work and in our home lives. With the brilliant Paul Lieberstein at the helm, we think we have a series that not only brings humor and comfort during this troubling time but will also be an inventive and enduring workplace comedy for years to come."

"Start with the office comedy, lose the office and you're just left with comedy. The math works," Lieberstein joked.

Silverman and Lieberstein will executive produce alongside Howard Owens, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Kevin Healey and Rodney Ferrell.
