The Office came to an end in 2012, with the actors moving on to other gigs. Fans of the series were introduced to different characters and the mishaps they got up to. What fans might not know is that some of these misadventures were deleted from the show.

10 Michael Asks Ryan About Music To Impress Someone

During the first season, a saleswoman comes to the office. In a deleted scene for "Hot Girl," Michael asks Ryan for some music to borrow. Ryan asks what kind of music Michael likes, to which Michael replies he likes everything. Ryan then starts asking if Michael likes The Strokes or The Hives, to which Michael says he does.

This is where Ryan starts to get bold. He realizes Michael does not actually listen to them. Ryan asks Michael if he likes The Fleebles and The Glorps, with Michael saying he loves the last thing they did. The scene ends with Michael telling Ryan to hook him up with The Fleebles or The Hives.

9 Jim Guesses Dwight's Passwords Correctly

Again in the first season, this deleted scene takes place during the episode "The Alliance." Dwight brags to Jim that his computer is secure and no one can get in. This leads Jim to guess Dwight's password correctly, guessing it is Frodo. Dwight quickly changes it.

Just after changing it, Jim asks Dwight if he changed it to Gollum. Dwight replies he didn't but then quickly change it again. Maybe it's best not to pick a password from the same series...

8 Creed Tells The Office To Bully Him, Saying He Can Take It

During the first episode of season 9, Toby holds a workplace bullying conference. During a deleted scene, Creed invites everyone to bully him. He says he can take it, as he has thick skin. Many in the room have something to say, with Creed excusing himself for a smoke break.

It is revealed Creed actually went to the stairwell to cry. Just as he's returning to take his seat, Jim mentions he is becoming the new Stanley. Pam says that it's okay, because if he becomes the new Creed she'll divorce him. Creed overhears this and has to leave the room again.

7 Michael Forces HR To Hold A Meeting In The Hallway

Michael is no stranger to putting himself over others. In the episode "Hot Girl," he offers Katy the conference room so she can set up her purses. Dwight reminds him HR is going to have a meeting in there, to which Michael replies they can move to the hallway.

A scene then shows HR meeting in the hallway, with everyone crammed together. A large whiteboard barely fits in the hallway, and everyone has trouble holding their drinks and food.

6 Dwight Shares His Thoughts On Technology

During the episode "Dunder Mifflin Infinity" in season 4, Jim and Dwight have a conversation about technology. Dwight claims the Blackberry is pointless to have. He then goes on to say the only inventions that matter are the printing press, tractor, mechanical thresher, telephone, and airplane.

Dwight then goes on to classify the car as a flightless airplane, and then ends his thought by saying vaccines are for chumps.

5 Michael & Dwight Reveal Their Ideal Dinner Guests

Fans of The Office definitely remember the "Dinner Party" episode. In a deleted scene, Michael and Dwight reveal their ideal party guests during talking head interviews. Michael lists off his friends Jim, Pam, and Ryan. He also mentions the mayor, Barack Obama, George Clooney, and other famous people. He then ends by saying he'd invite Jan if there was room.

Dwight, on the other hand, has other ideas. He states he would invite John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, Osama bin Laden, John Wayne Gacy, and Jeffrey Dahmer. Dwight then explains he would signal the waiter, who would kill them all.

4 Creed Lived In The Office Before The Series' Ending

In season 3 episode "The Coup," Creed reveals that he lives at the office. He reveals he sleeps under his desk four nights of the week and spends the last three in Toronto. Creed then mentions he takes the welfare from Canada, as they don't know about his office job.

The scene also shows Creed washing his hair in the break room sink, as well as sleeping inside the office. This comes after Dwight suggests there is a good chance Creed is living in the office.

3 Oscar, Stanley, & Creed Share Their Thoughts On The Fun Run

During the episode "Fun Run" in season 4, there were supposed to be talking-head interviews with Oscar, Stanley, and Creed. They would have given the reason they ditched the race.

Oscar answers he already ran charity fun runs during the summer and he can't do it anymore. Creed replies taking a cab to the end of a race will shave minutes off your time. Stanley then finishes it off by saying his feet swell up when he runs and that nobody wants to see that.

2 Erin's Parents Reveal Why They Gave Her Up For Adoption

During the series finale, Erin Hanson finally meets her birth parents. A deleted scene explains why her parents gave her up for adoption.

It is revealed both of them were puppeteers for the movie The Dark Crystal. They thought the movie was so fearsome and depressing that they could not raise a child in the world.

1 Creed Bratton Was Thought To Be Dead

During the chaos of "Product Recall" in season 3, it is revealed Creed faked his death. The Scranton Times reporter recognizes Creed in the break room and reveals he wrote Creed's obituary. Creed thanks the reporter for a flattering portrayal and walks out of the room.

Creed then has a talking-head interview where he reveals he faked his death ten years prior. He then goes on to say he has been collecting life insurance benefits as his own widow since then.
