"The Martian" managed to again nab the first place spot at this weekend's box office, followed by holdovers "Goosebumps" and "Bridge of Spies" in second and third place -- leaving new releases "Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension" and "The Last Witch Hunter" with the scraps.

According to Variety, "The Martian" returned to the first place position at the box office with a $15.9 million haul this weekend -- bringing its domestic gross to $166.4 million -- followed by last week's No. 1, "Goosebumps," with $15.5 million and "Bridge of Spies" with $11.4 million.

Vin Diesel's "The Last Witch Hunter" -- which cost a reported $70 million to make -- brought in $10.8 million for a forth place debut, followed by "Hotel Transylvania 2" in fifth place with $9 million in its fifth week. In sixth, "Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension" raked in a mere $8.2 million -- the lowest debut of the series.

Also debuting in wide release this weekend was Danny Boyle and Aaron Sorkin's critically lauded "Steve Jobs" film, which -- considering its Oscar buzz -- earned far less than expected, with $7.3 million from 2,443 theatres. While that's considered a disappointment, it made slightly more in its opening than Ashton Kutcher's "Jobs," which brought in $6.7 million in its opening weekend.

Smaller-budget features "Jem and the Holograms" and "Rock the Kasbah" couldn't crack the top 10 this weekend, earning only $1.3 million and $1.5 million, respectively. Luckily for "Jem," the movie only cost $5 million to make, while "Rock the Kasbah" cost $15 million.
