At the start of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Din Djarin was tasked with retrieving a mysterious entity known as The Child for an Imperial named only The Client. As things escalated, Din rescued The Child and came to protect his young ward, eventually working with his friends to take down the sinister Moff Gideon. While Season 2 is over and Season 3 is still quite a ways away, we think The Mandalorian's next outing may just feature Star Wars' version of the Avengers.

Din has made a number of friends over the course of his journey, including Cara Dune, Fennec Shand, Boba Fett, Bo-Katan Kryze and more. Din's allies have helped him in a number of key ways and proven they're more than capable of taking down some of the most dangerous foes the Star Wars Universe has to offer. These relationships are key to who Din is as a character and helped to both humanize him and prove his incredible deadliness. With this team on his side, there are few people who could stop Din, and now that he has the Darksaber, that could mean big things for the future of Star Wars.

Beginning in 1977 with A New Hope, the Star Wars franchise is one of the most successful in the world, with the series' core films grossing billions worldwide. There have been a number of video games, comics, books and other forms of media based in the Star Wars universe, though not all are canon following Disney's acquisition of the property in 2012.
