The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal may be riding momentum from The Last of Us, but he says that the upcoming third season of his Star Wars series is upping the ante in big battles.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Pascal was asked about what Star Wars fans should expect when Season 3 hits Disney+ this March. Without giving too much away, the show's lead actor suggested the possibility of more Mandalorians, potentially leading to interesting up-sized confrontations throughout the upcoming season. "I will say, there will be more Mandalorians," Pascal said. "A lot of them. Big, epic battle. Plural. Maybe?"

Baby Yoda in The Mandalorian Season 3

When asked by Fallon if Baby Yoda would appear in Season 3, Pascal jokingly said The Mandalorian "couldn't figure his contract out." However, Pascal did manage to reveal that Grogu is "still learning, teaching, protecting," before stating, "If I say anymore, I'll be replaced, not just as The Mandalorian, but as a human being."

Pascal's comments further hype a highly anticipated third season of The Mandalorian. The full Season 3 trailer for the space Western series, which debuted during NFL Super Wild Card Weekend this past January, gave Disney+ its most-watched Star Wars show trailer, registering 83.5 million views for the streaming service within its first 24 hours online. The sneak peek also provided some insight into potential story arcs for Mandalorian enthusiasts to track, including further opening the Star Wars galaxy and a new challenge for the show's titular character.

Starring as the formerly-lone ascetic bounty hunter Din Djarin, the Chilean-American actor Pascal has won critical acclaim and several award nominations for his role in The Mandalorian. It's part of an impressive streak of successful shows on which he's appeared, including Game of Thrones, Narcos and, most recently, The Last of Us. Season 3 sees Din Djarin return to his home planet, Mandalore, as he must make amends for taking off his helmet at the end of Season 2, breaking the Mandalorian code. Additionally, Din Djarin crosses paths with old allies and new enemies while journeying together with Grogu.

Season 3 of The Mandalorian sees Pascal return alongside Carl Weathers (Greef Karga), Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) and Omid Abtahi (Dr. Pershing), while Emily Swallow plays The Armorer. The show boosted its director corps for the upcoming season by adding Black Panther cinematographer Rachel Morrison and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse co-helmer Peter Ramsay to its ranks. Weathers, Bryce Dallas Howard, Lee Isaac Chung and Rick Famuyiwa also directed different Season 3 episodes.

The Mandalorian Season 3 premieres on Disney+ on Mar. 1.
