The Mandalorian dropped a new promo reel for its Season 2 on social media, in celebration of its upcoming release on Disney+.

The show's Twitter account posted the clip, along with the announcement, "The countdown begins. Start streaming the new season of #TheMandalorian Oct. 30 on #DisneyPlus."

In the video footage, we hear the show's evil Moff Gideon declare, "You have something I want. It will be mine." Gideon -- acted by Giancarlo Esposito -- is referring to The Child that the Mandalorian decided to keep in the last season of the series, vowing to transport the baby safely to a new home, even if it means facing a galaxy full of dangerous enemies along the way.

The footage also shows Moff using his Darksaber to cut his way out of the TIE fighter than he was trapped in at the end of Season 1.

Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) are also seen aiding the Mandalorian against rows of Stormtroopers and galactic missile blasts. At the end of Season 1, both Cara and Greef stayed behind as the Mandalorian left with The Child; however, it seems like it won't be too long before they're reunited in battle.

Although actor Carl Weathers planned to only appear in Episode 1 and Episode 3 of The Mandalorian's Season 1, he confirmed that he's a leading character within Season 2. Weathers will also be directing an episode within the new season as well.

The official synopsis for The Mandalorian's Season 2 is below,

The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.

Season 2 of The Mandalorian will introduce a bounty of new characters to its critically acclaimed series. Rosario Dawson is expected to play Ahsoka Tano, while Timothy Olyphant is rumored to play Cobb Vanth. Meanwhile, Sasha Banks has joined the cast in a mystery role, and franchise veteran Temuera Morrison is confirmed to be playing Boba Fett. Disney confirmed earlier this year that Season 3 of the show is currently under production.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Taika Waititi and Emily Swallow. Season 2 premieres Oct. 30 on Disney+.
