WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Star Wars: The Mandalorian, "Chapter 10: The Passenger," streaming now on Disney+.

The Mandalorian's Din Djarin repeatedly shows unflinching resolve in his duties as a bounty hunter and in his journey to help and protect The Child. However, his resolve is outmatched by the drive of another on a different quest -- Baby Yoda's insatiable hunger for eggs of all kinds.

Throughout the series thus far, The Child has shown a big appetite for various foods. Be it frogs, soup or eggs, nothing can stop him from consuming anything that catches his eye. Season 2's "Chapter 10: The Passenger" shows Mando continuing his quest to find the Jedi by following leads on other hidden Mandalorians spread throughout the galaxy. Unfortunately, The Child's lust for eggs nearly compromises their mission.

With his last lead only bringing him to Boba Fett's armor rather than an actual Mandalorian, Din Djarin accepts a job to take a passenger, a "Frog Lady" and her eggs, to her husband who is waiting for them on Trask. To complicate things further, the fragile state of the eggs won't allow for hyperspace travel and forces them to travel through "sublight," thus lengthening the journey significantly. Sadly for the eggs, the added travel time endangers them further as the Child has more time to consume them.

Baby Yoda is tantalized at the sight of the container of eggs the moment he lays eyes on them. While on the journey, Mando continues to catch him eating eggs, telling him not to, but it doesn't stop the hungry Child from going back to snack on more whenever he sees the opportunity. After having been chased by a couple of New Republic X-Wing fighters, the crew is forced to land on an unspecified frozen planet, and here is where Baby Yoda's egg propensity takes a turn for the worse. When The Child and Mando find Frog Lady in a hot spring, The Child tries to eat another egg but is swatted away. Defeated, he turns around, and finds a large nest behind them.

The nest holds a vast number of what appears to be eggs -- just what Baby Yoda wants. He then breaks one of them open and eats the creature inside. The creature, unfortunately for The Child and company, is a Krykna spider and its disturbance causes the entire nest to awaken and swarm the crew. The Razor Crest was nearly overrun by the Krykna horde, but with the help of the New Republic pilots Carson and Wolf coming to the rescue, they escape and continue their journey to Trask in hopes of finding Mandalorians.

The question remains: Can anyone stop The Child from eating any eggs unlucky enough to cross his path? For the time being, it doesn't appear so. He may be blocked temporarily, but one way or another, nothing will stand in between him and his favorite snack.
