The actor who portrayed the spear-wielding Magistrate in the latest episode of The Mandalorian is none other than the goddaughter of the late Bruce Lee.

Diana Lee Inosanto shared the special familial in a recent Instagram post, reacting to her recent debut as Morgan Elsbeth, the Magistrate of Calodan on the planet Corvus, in the series.

"I'm extremely grateful & deeply humbled at this moment," she captioned her post. "(It's overwhelming! I'm so honored to have worked with this amazing cast and crew.) As a lifelong #StarWars 'fan girl', I’ve cried me an ocean of joy (maybe even the size of the planet Kamino) And to have my childhood dream fulfilled! I'm feeling the true essence of gratitude. Mabuhay! May the Force be with You!"

Inosanto concluded the message by writing, "PS -- this 'debut' day of November 27th holds special significance as it is also my godfather’s 80th birthday, the late #BruceLee a man that shaped the future of me and my family."

No stranger to the world of martial arts, Inosanto has previously worked as a fight and stunt choreographer on films including Alita: Battle Angel and Spy, as well as on the television series Lucifer and Shadowhunters. Inosanto has studied many different styles of martial arts, including Jeet Kune Do -- the martial art form that Bruce Lee founded. She was also one of Bruce Lee's students.

The latest Season 2 episode of The Mandalorian, titled "Chapter 13: The Jedi," found Inosanto's Magistrate wielding a Beskar spear and engaging in a battle with Jedi Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), after Tano demanded that Elsbeth give her the location of Grand Admiral Thrawn. "Chapter 13: The Jedi" also saw Tano recreating an iconic scene from her battle with Darth Vader in Star Wars Rebels. In the scene, Tano placed her two lightsabers together and drew the hilts away, igniting them as if she were unsheathing the white-hot glowing blades like swords while engaging with droids in a dark alley.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, with guest stars Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Horatio Sanz and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. New Season 2 episodes are currently streaming every Friday through Dec. 18 on Disney+.
