With the third episode of The Mandalorian -- "Chapter 3: The Sin" -- now streaming on Disney+, the streaming service has revealed the official synopses for the next three episodes of its live-action Star Wars series.

"Chapter 4" is directed by Bryce Dallas Howard and written by series creator Jon Favreau. It is slated to arrive on Disney+ on Nov. 29. Although it's not completely clear from the synopsis, the character being teased here is likely Gina Carano's Cara Dune, who served as a shock trooper in the Rebel Alliance. Per its official synopsis,

The Mandalorian teams up with an ex-soldier to protect a village from raiders.

Meanwhile, "Chapter 5" is written and directed by Star Wars Rebels creator Dave Filoni -- who also directed The Mandalorian's first episode. "Chapter 5" launches on Dec. 6. Per its official synopsis,

The Mandalorian helps a rookie bounty hunter who is in over his head.

Finally, "Chapter 6" is directed by Rick Famuyiwa and written by Christopher Yost and Famuyiwa. It arrives Dec. 13. Per its official synopsis,

The Mandalorian joins a crew of mercenaries on a dangerous mission.

Between raiders, rookies and mercenaries, it should prove an interesting couple of weeks for the galaxy's latest masked bounty hunter as the first season of his eponymous series heads towards its conclusion. Following the Rick Famuyiwa-directed sixth episode, only two episodes will remain in The Mandalorian Season 1 -- which are directed by Deborah Chow and Taika Waititi, respectively. Favreau has teased production being underway on Season 2.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte.
