Disney+ Germany revealed two major additions to the cast of The Mandalorian Season 2.

Posted on Disney+ Germany's official Instagram story, it was confirmed that Rosario Dawson and Timothy Olyphant will be joining The Mandalorian's second season. However, an official announcement has not been made as of yet.

Rumors about new characters began circulating in September, including that Dawson would be playing fan-favorite Ahsoka Tano. Olyphant's name was mentioned as well, though his possible character has yet to be revealed. Other fan-favorites rumored to appear in Season 2 include Bo-Katan and Boba Fett.

Olyphant and Dawson are now confirmed, but Mandalorian star Gina Carano, who plays Cara Dune, had also denied these rumors in an interview with EW. "Some of them are true, some of them not true," she said.

The Mandalorian will also introduce series newcomer Michael Bien. Though his character has also not been officially confirmed, potential concept art has made its way around the internet as fans continue to speculate about Season 2, which is slated to premiere in October. It was reported in May that Temura Morrison, who played Jengo Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, was cast as Boba Fett in the Disney+ series, though his role will be relatively small.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Taika Waititi and Emily Swallow. Season 1 is available now on Disney+, with Season 2 premiering Oct. 30.
