Anime fans are familiar with the trope that opening themes often follow the same pattern, and that that one anime's theme song can play seamlessly over the opening animation of another. While this isn't as commonplace for American media, the new trailer for upcoming Star Wars series The Mandalorian may just break the mold.A Twitter user posted a video while noting, "I put the audio from the Cats trailer over the Star Wars Mandalorian trailer and I'm freaked out about how well it fits[.]"

Viewers may experience chills down their spines as Jennifer Hudson belts the words to "Memories" while the Lucasfilm title card appears. The video continues to showcase the similarities in the timing of the two trailers, even having the perfect match-up of Rebel Wilson's scatting overlaid with a bar fight.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. The series debuts Nov. 12 on Disney+, the same date as the streaming service's official launch.

Cats boasts an impressive cast, including Francesca Hayward, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift and Rebel Wilson. Directed by Tom Hooper, the film is slated to hit theaters Dec. 20.
