WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2, Episode 8, "Chapter 16: The Rescue," streaming now on Disney+.

The Mandalorian's Din Djarin and Grogu — aka Baby Yoda — were the stars of this year's holiday card from Lucasfilm.

Released ahead of Christmas, the 2020 Lucasfilm holidays card depicts the Disney+ series' titular character riding in a holiday-themed podracer. Meanwhile, Grogu — formerly known as The Child — sits between Din's legs at the front of the podracer wearing a Santa hat.

"Lucasfilm's holiday card this year," Lucasfilm rep Chris Argyropoulos tweeted alongside the card. "Wishing you all a happy & healthy 2021." The card was created by Lucasfilm Concept Design Supervisor Christian Alzmann, according to E! News. It was posted on Friday, Dec. 18, the same day as the The Mandalorian's Season 2 finale, "Chapter 16: The Rescue," was released on Disney+.

Mark Hamill also took to social media on the day of the Season 2 finale to celebrate his surprise cameo in the episode remaining a surprise. "The fact that we were able to keep my involvement a secret for over a year with no leaks is nothing less than a miracle," Hamill tweeted after the episode hit the streamer.

In "Chapter 16: The Rescue," an age-regressed version of Hamill, appearing as Luke Skywalker, showed up to help the Mandalorian and Grogu on a rescue mission. The episode ended with Hamill taking Grogu with him to train him as a Jedi. The Mandalorian's Season 2 finale also included a post-credits scene that teased Disney+'s upcoming series, The Book of Boba Fett, which is set to premiere in December 2021.

In addition to starring on this year's Lucasfilm holiday card, Grogu also recently appeared on the cover of Empire Magazine in an illustration that depicts him throwing up after eating too many French macarons. "Those lucky enough to subscribe will get this exclusive Grogu cover illustrated by [Sam Gilbey], which shows exactly what happens when you Force steal too many space biscuits from your classmates," tweeted the publication at the time of the cover announcement. The cover illustration was a nod to a scene in "Chapter 12: The Siege," in which Grogu was left behind by Din Djarin at a school. During his time at the school, Grogu stole macarons from a classmate and later spit them up on himself.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Seasons 1 and 2 are now streaming on Disney+.
