In the '60s spy show The Man from U.N.C.L.E., CIA agent Napoleon Solo and KGB operative Illya Kuryakin has long worked together for the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement to take down the bad guys. In director Guy Ritchie's big-screen adaptation, however, Solo (Henry Cavill) and Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) are just getting started.

Producer and co-writer Lionel Wigram tells Entertainment Weekly the plan is take Solo and Kuryakin back to their roots: "At the height of the Cold War you’ve got a Russian and an American working together. How did that come about?"

Jared Harris (Mad Men), Alicia Vikander (A Royal Affair), Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby) and Hugh Grant also star.
