The Losers, Kick-Ass, Iron Man 2: March 9th Comic Reel

Warner Bros. has provided us with a poster for “The Losers.” The layout should be familiar to fans of the comic book series and a teaser image original artist Jock whipped up when the cast was first announced

Meanwhile, Blogamatic 3000 has some nifty new stills from the film with various characters in action — even Chris Evans as Jensen!

Starring Jeffey Dean Morgan, release date: April 23rd, 2010

MTV News has a nice look at the film’s outdoor campaign. In my area, we never see this form of advertising anymore. It used to be much more common on the eastside of LA County, but it’s almost as thought the local municipalities passed laws against them.

Starring Nicholas Cage, release date: April 16th, 2010

Advertising Tuesday continues with Collider‘s look at the in-theatre standee and some new posters for “Iron Man 2.” The new posters feature Iron Man and War Machine on solo sheets while the standee has both characters ready for action. Also, Collider was nice enough to prepare Hulu clips from Robert Downey Jr’s appearence on The Jimmy Kimmel Show:

Also, have you voted in our CBR poll regarding the new trailer? Check it out. So far, readers find the trailer to be fantastic. The poll closes on Thursday April 8th.

Starring Robert Downey Jr., release date: May 7th, 2010

The teaser trailer is here and, boy, is it teasing. For serious:

Starring Jeff Bridges, release date: December 17th, 2010

Screenrant has the official synopsis of the film: “Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, ‘Thor,’ which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.” Sounds reasonable enough. Screenrant also has a brief set report from writer/director Keri Collins. While not getting into specifics, Collins does say, “These guys care so much about the source material that I don’t think the movie could be in better hands.”

Starring Chris Hemsworth, release date: May 6th, 2011

Bloody Disgusting hears tell of Josh Brolin, Sacha Baron Cohen, and “Flight of the Concords” star Jemaine Clement as possible contenders for new black suits.

Release date: TBA

Today’s crazy casting rumor roundup: Dane Cook and the Jonas Brothers. I’d mention Mysterio, but he might actually be Dane Cook in this instance.

Release date: July 22nd, 2011

Can “Tron Legacy” just be out now? I know we’ve got “Clash of the Titans”, “Kick-Ass”, “The Losers”, “Iron Man 2”, and a bevy other films coming, too, but “Tron” is special. I never expected or wanted a sequel, but now that it’s real, it looks better than I ever could’ve hoped. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya bracing for the future threat of Tron-related merchandise.
