'The Legend of Tarzan' Welcomes You to the Jungle With New IMAX Trailer

A new IMAX trailer has arrived for Warner Bros.' "The Legend of Tarzan," which stars "True Blood" alum Alexander Skarsgard as the Lord of the Apes.

Directed by “Harry Potter” veteran David Yates, the film picks up years after the man once known as Tarzan left the jungles of Africa for a gentrified life in England as John Clayton, Lord Gresytroke, with his wife Jane (“Suicide Squad’s” Margot Robbie) at his side. Now he’s invited back to the Congo to serve as Parliament’s trade emissary, unaware that he’s a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by Capt. Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz). However, those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.

Opening July 1 in North America, “The Legend of Tarzan” also stars Samuel L. Jackson and Djimon Hounsou.
