'The Last Ship' Opens Fire With Season 2 Trailer

Although the  first season of TNT's "The Last Ship" was a bit uneven, it certainly ended on a strong note -- and if this new trailer for is any indication, the drama won't be letting up in Season 2.

Debuting over the weekend at WonderCon Anaheim, the first part of the trailer is all about atmosphere, but around the 43-second mark, it rolls out new footage, with the crew of the U.S.S. Nathan James, now back in the United States, coming to terms with the effects of the global pandemic and the realization that they're among the few remaining survivors.

Starring Eric Dane, Rhona Mitra and Adam Baldwin, "The Last Ship" returns June 21 to TNT with a two-hour premiere at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
