Remender also revealed in the post that the film is coming to Netflix “next year.” It is one of two Remender comics being currently adapted, with Deadly Class being adapted into a television series for Syfy and produced by Anthony and Joe Russo (Avengers: Infinity War).

The Last Days of American crime centers around Graham Bricke, a criminal in a bleak future who teams up with his girlfriend to pull off one last huge heist before the United States government broadcasts a hypnotic signal that will keep the citizens from knowingly breaking the law.

The Last Days of American Crime is expected to premiere on Netflix sometime in 2019.
