20th Century Fox celebrated its upcoming film The King's Man with a special panel at NY Comic Con. The panel featured appearances by director Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class) and stars Ralph Fiennes (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Harris Dickinson (Maleficent: Mistress of Evil) and Djimon Hounsou (Captain Marvel).
The panel also unveil some new photos from the film, which feature Vaughn, Fiennes, Dickinson and Hounsou.
The third film in The Kingsmen franchise, The King's Man will serve as a prequel to the first two films. It will follow Ralph Fiennes' Duke of Oxford as he forms a secret intelligence agency to stop a collection of evil masterminds from killing millions.
Vaughn directed the original Kingsmen and its sequel, Kingsmen: The Golden Circle. It is unclear if any of the original cast members will appear in the prequel. However, given the time difference between the two, it is highly unlikely.
Directed by Matthew Vaughn, The King's Man stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou and Charles Dance. The film is slated to release February 2020.
