Being a mother isn't too different from being a superhero. Both deal with helping the weak, keeping the peace, punishing those who misbehave, and are the only things keeping the world from collapsing into chaos. Or at least that's what most TV sitcoms have taught us. Maybe that's why Helen Parr AKA Elastigirl does such a good job at serving both roles. Of course it helps that she possesses superhuman elasticity and malleability.

While she is commonly known as the mom of the Parr family, The Incredibles 2 has demonstrated her capability of fighting crime as a solo hero. However the villains she faces are restricted by a PG-rating. If Helen found herself in the DC universe, she would be in for a real challenge. Here are five villains she could take down and five that would beat her.

10 Win: Two-Face

Harvey Dent could be best described as having a face only a mother could love. Elastigirl is not one of those mothers. If Arkham City has taught us anything, Two-Face and his crew are vulnerable to stealth attacks. Helen has proven in her first outing when she sneaks into Syndrome's base that she knows work quietly. Even if she is found, she is basically bulletproof. If she's anything like Luffy or Plastic Man, her elasticity would ricochet the bullets right back at her enemies but even if it doesn't, it's likely Edna Mode made her suit bulletproof. If it comes down to facing Harvey one on one, she could probably catch him by surprise while he's flipping his coin. Maybe she'll give it back once he's learned his lesson.

9 Lose: Clayface

Clayface is a man of many talents. Aside from being a former actor, he also has a malleable body much like Helen but can take much more of a beating. He also has the numbers on his side thanks to his ability to make duplicates of himself which can overwhelm Elastigirl. His shape-shifting is a factor that will make this fight a challenge. All it would take is for him to turn into a helpless civilian in need of her help or even someone in her family to trick Helen into lowering her guard. By the end of this fight, Helen will be out of the picture and Clayface will have a new role to try out.

8 Win: Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn is an interesting balancing line between villain and antihero like a tightrope. Whichever side she is on, Helen will try to stop her just for all the collateral damage she causes daily. Harley is a tough cookie to pin down with her impressive gymnastics but she'll never be as flexible as Elastigirl.

Especially if it comes to a chase and Helen has to whip out the Elasticycle. Fighting Helen is out of the question and Harley's tools aren't going to get the job done. When all is said and done, the show's over for Harley.

7 Lose: Poison Ivy

In a battle of Mother Nature versus the mother Parr, the odds don't look good for the latter. Starting with her pheromones, Poison Ivy could enthrall people to her cause and send them to fight Helen. Dealing with civilians without hurting them will be tricky and dangerous if Ivy controls another super. Ivy also never goes into a fight without access to some form of plant life. Her vines could catch Helen off-guard, bind her arms and legs, and immobilize the mother. Afterword she could become another victim of Ivy's pheromones or get fed to some man-eating plant. Lord knows Ivy has enough of those.

6 Win: Bane

Bane

Elastigirl has a good track record dealing with difficult, idealistic muscle men. She even married one and started a family with him. So it shouldn't be surprising to find Helen holding her own against the likes of Bane. Evading his punches should be a cakewalk and when he taps into his venom reserves, he should be easy to goad.

With a bit of misdirection, she could easily reach around and disconnect the tubes supplying him with Venom. Even if Bane does get a hold of her, how can he break the back of someone so stretchy? For Helen, this will be as difficult as Jack-Jack throwing a tantrum: likely to cause unthinkable property damage but manageable.

5 Lose: Gorilla Grodd

Gorilla Grodd Doesn't Have The Weapons To Kill A Titan

Dealing with a husband who acts like a raving gorilla is very different than facing an actual one. Especially when she's up against the likes of Gorilla Grodd. Unlike Bob, Grodd has brains as well as brawn. If that damn dirty ape gets his hands on Helen, getting out will be a challenge. Assuming he doesn't act like the Hulk to her Loki and smash her around, the next thing she has to worry about is his telepathy. If it's anything like Syndrome's zero-point energy, it'll keep her from lifting a finger against him. If that's not enough, he can brainwash her from the start into serving him. By the end Grodd will make a monkey out of her.

4 Win: Giganta

Giganta vs Donna Troy and Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman (DC Comics).

Taking down Giganta won't be easy but if anyone can pull this off, it's Elastigirl. Giganta has the size advantage, but Helen should be able to nimbly evade her attacks or anything she tosses at her. If she can't stretch her way up to face Giganta, she's proven how formidable she is on the Elasticycle and can find a way to get up to her. After that she just repeats what Peter does in Captain America: Civil War. All Helen has to do is blind or disorient her, make it back down to ground level, stretch herself between two lamp poles, and trip the giantess into falling over. If Giganta hasn't hit her head and knocked herself unconscious, it should only take a couple sucker punches to take her out. Which is probably for the best since Helen will probably use that overused "the bigger they are, the harder they fall" line which Giganta must be sick of hearing.

3 Lose: Killer Frost

Killer Frost fires deadly icicles from her fingers in DC Comics.

Now you might be thinking out of all the ice-themed villains that DC has to offer, what makes Killer Frost so great? Frozone is a close friend of the Parr family and so Helen would figure out their powers are the same. Like many others, Helen will think that the key to victory is heat but that will be her fatal mistake.

Killer Frost is actually fueled by heat and projects it as ice. Elastigirl will end up supplying Frost with all the energy she needs to take down Helen. If she doesn't trap Helen or eliminate her with an icicle, Frost could finish her off by draining all the heat from her body. One way or another, Killer Frost will be taking this victory out of Helen's cold, dead hand.

2 Win: Mr. Mxyzlptlk

Mxyzptlk confronts Superman in a psychedelic landscape in DC Comics

Mr. Mxyzptlk, the bane of Superman and spell check, is without a doubt one of the most powerful villains on this list. If he can give Superman a run for his money, how in the world is she going to stand a chance against him? Simple: she's a mother. A mother of three to be precise. Helen is more than qualified to deal with immature, childish beings with rampant powers. After all, she doesn't need to beat him in combat but rather get him to say his own name backward. As long as she plays along with whatever sick game he has in store for her, Helen could get him to drop his guard and trick him into saying his name. Ultimately this will be child's play, and if there's one thing moms can handle it's child's play.

1 Lose: General Zod

An image of General Zod, screaming that all should kneel before him

Out of all the extra-terrestrial threats to Earth, General Zod is not to be taken lightly.  Not only does he possess the same powers as Superman but he has years of experience leading military forces. Assuming his subordinates don't take her out right away, Zod will overwhelm Elastigirl with his super-speed and strength. Unless Helen has kryptonite on her person, which seems unlikely given the lack of pockets on her costume, her attacks will barely scuff his clothes. Ultimately there is only one thing she can do: kneel before Zod.
