TV Guide has posted a first look at the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season two premiere episode, "Shadows," which clarifies Hayley Atwell's appearance as Agent Peggy Carter and brings a few old familiar faces back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Neal McDonough and Kenneth Choi will reprise their roles as Howling Commandos Dum Dum Dugan and Jim Morita, respectively. The trio can be seen in what is likely a flashback sequence to the very beginnings of S.H.I.E.L.D.

While this is the first time viewers will have seen Kenneth Choi as Jim "I'm from Fresno, Ace!" Morita since his role in "Captain America: The First Avenger," McDonough most recently appeared in a special post-credits sequence of the "Agent Carter" Marvel One-Shot short film, alongside Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark. The short scene came shortly after Atwell's Peggy Carter was invited to help start up S.H.I.E.L.D. at the film's conclusion. Although both Choi and McDonough are now confirmed to appear in the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season premiere, there's no information as to whether either will reprise their roles for the upcoming "Agent Carter" television series, which focuses on Peggy Carter as she helps to establish S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside Howard Stark.
