Here's the latest of the daily voting threads for The Greatest ____ Stories Ever Told!
Our next character up for voting is John Constantine.
Ever since he debuted in the pages of Alan Moore's Swamp Thing, John Constantine has been a major character. Currently he has one of, if not the ONLY, ongoing comic book series launched during the 1980s that is still going, Hellblazer. He has been written by a veritable Who's Who of comic book writers, including Garth Ennis, Jamie Delano, Neil Gaiman, the aforementioned Alan Moore, Warren Ellis, Paul Jenkins, Peter Milligan, Brian Azzarello, Andy Diggle and many more!
You have until 11:59 PM Pacific time, May 28th to vote for your top ten favorite comic book stories featuring John Constantine! Your choices will be revealed on May 29th.
You vote by sending your top ten choices to firstname.lastname@example.org (make the subject heading clear that it is about The Greatest John Constantine Stories Ever Told Voting) by that time (you send your votes by e-mail, not in the comments to this piece).
Be sure to first click here to read about the rules and guidelines for the voting (so you don't vote for stuff that is ineligible, like you can't vote for "Garth Ennis' run on Hellblazer," you have to pick a specific story or story arc).
I'd prefer you not share your votes in the comments section - please let's keep it a surprise until the results go up. You can share your votes then if you'd like!
Have fun voting and be sure to check back May 29th to see the results!
NOTE: This was one of a few lists reader David Pryde suggested awhile back. I was already planning on using Constantine plus two others that David suggested (Peter Milligan and Roger Stern) but he gave me the idea to use the Kingpin.
