The Great Comic Book Cover Homage Streak: Week 151

It occurs to me that it seems like many comic book covers are homages. Which is fine with me. I have no problem with it. It just made me think, though, how long could I go before I hit a week where NO new comic book was released that had a cover that was an homage to something? Let's find out! Here is an archive of all the cover homages featured in the streak so far!

This week, we'll go with Otto Schmidt's cover for Korvac Saga #3, which is homaging George Perez and Terr Austin's cover to Avengers #172

Schmidt doesn't actually credit the Perez cover on the cover, but come on, not only is it obviously an homage to that cover, the Perez cover was part of the ORIGINAL Korvac Saga. That can't be a coincidence (on the infinitesimal chance that this is all a coincidence, I do have a back-up homage cover for this week - I just like this one better. It's more obscure).

One hundred and fifty-one weeks down! Will we make it to week one hundred and fifty-two?
