Concept art from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has arrived online, offering fans a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes work that went into making the JJ Abrams-directed sequel the biggest release of the year. Or, if projections hold true, of all time.

The images are from the recently released "Art of Star Wars: The Force Awakens" book. Featuring character designs, storyboard paintings for major scenes and more, the art is as beautiful as the final, filmed scenes, and might even provide those who have already seen the movie even more insight into what ended up on screen.
