Ezra Miller, known for playing The Flash in DC's films, was arrested again in Hawaii.

Reported by Variety, Miller was taken into custody again for second-degree assault, less than a month after the DCEU and Fantastic Beasts star was arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment in Hilo, Hawaii. Miller was arrested early Tuesday after another incident on the island in Pāhoa, hours before their scheduled appearance at court to enter a plea relating to assault and harassment charges. Patrol officers arrived at a private residence after receiving a report of an assault that apparently occurred during a get-together at the home in the Leilani Estates subdivision in lower Puna. The police determined Miller had become irate after being asked to leave and reportedly threw a chair that struck a 26-year-old female on the forehead, leaving her with a half-inch cut.

Sometime between the alleged incident and the police investigation, Miller departed the residence. The police subsequently arrested Miller at 1:30 a.m. during a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 130 and Kukula Street in Kea‘au. After conferring with the County Prosecutor's Office, Miller was released at 4:05 a.m. The incident is still under active investigation. Although this is only the second arrest, Hawaii Police Assistant Chief Kenneth Quiocho said Miller had been the source of 10 police calls since March 7.

The Flash star was first arrested on March 28 following a report of a disorderly bar patron. Police took Miller into custody after determining that the star had become unruly while other patrons sang karaoke, yelling obscenities. They then grabbed a microphone out of a woman's hands while she was singing and lunged at a man playing darts. Following the arrest and being charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, Miller paid the $500 bail and was released from custody.

A day after the arrest, a Hawaiian couple the actor was staying with filed a restraining order against Miller. According to the restraining order, Miller allegedly burst into the couple's bedroom and threatened them and is quoted as saying, "I will bury you and your slut wife." Afterward, Miller supposedly stole several of the couple's belongings, including items of value like a passport and wallet. Days later, however, the couple requested the order be revoked, which a judge granted.

Miller's difficulties with the law have led to calls by fans for DC to replace them with Grant Gustin in the films. Gustin played The Flash in the long-running TV series. Following Miller's brushes with the law, reports surfaced of the actor suffering "frequent meltdowns" during the filming of The Flash movie.

The Flash races into theaters on June 23, 2023.
