Cosplayer Brooke Le is Wally West, The Flash.Posted on Le's Twitter page is a series of electrified shots, taken by photographer Cooper Burns, where she dons the Scarlet Speedster's Rebirth suit from DC Comics. While the cowl is not an exact match, the red hair and goggles brings fans back to the original television run of Young Justice, back when it was airing on Cartoon Network. In one of Le's earlier posts, she writes, "I love my Wally West Rebirth suit and so glad I finally got some dope shots of it."RELATED: DC Just Revealed Central City's Savior - And It Isn't Flash

Wally West first appeared in Flash #110 as the nephew of Iris West, Barry Allen's eventual wife in the title. In his first appearance, he became the sidekick of Allen, and the two fought crime together as the Flash and Kid Flash. However, following Allen's death in Crisis on Infinite Earths, Wally picked up the Flash ring to become the Earth's main heroic speedster, leaving his life as Kid Flash behind.

The main inspiration for Le's cosplay is the suit West wears in the Rebirth era of DC Comics. For years, West had been missing from the DC Universe, and it was his shocking return in the DC Universe: Rebirth #1 one-shot that kickstarted the brand new era for the comic book publisher. His time wearing this specific red suit can be explored in numerous titles, including The Flash, Titans, Heroes in Crisis, Flash Forward and more.

Wally West no longer wears this suit in current comics though. As of The Flash 2021 Annual #1, he sports a suit more similar to his original look as the Flash, which he wears as Earth's main speedster now. Following the events of Infinite Frontier written by former Flash writer Joshua Williamson, Barry Allen is seemingly dead again and missing from the main DC Universe. It was recently announced in the June 2021 solicitations for DC Comics that The Flash #783 will explore Wally's search for his mentor in a three issue tie-in story to the upcoming Dark Crisis event.

As for Le, she holds over 30,000 followers across her various social media accounts on platforms like TikTok, Instagram and Twitter. She has created numerous cosplays with vibrant photo edits as well, including DC fan-favorites like Black Canary, Supergirl and more. Her handles on Instagram and TikTok are "tattedkhaleesi," while her Twitter username is "tatted_khaleesi." For Burns, the photographer of these stunning images, his Twitter handle is "Chil_Cooper."

The current comic book run of The Flash is helmed by writer Jeremy Adams with art from various artists, including Fernando Pasarin, Brent Peeples and Will Conrad. The next upcoming issue, The Flash #781, goes on sale April 19 from DC Comics.
