WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "A Girl Named Sue," the latest episode of The Flash, which aired Tuesday on The CW.

Ever since its Season 5 finale, The Flash has been teasing the debut of Sue Dearbon, aka the future Mrs. Sue Dibny, Ralph Dibny's wife. In the comics, Ralph and Sue Dibny have been a popular couple that's been part of DC lore for a very long time. The love story between Ralph and Sue is epic and their romance is filled with trust -- so much so that they are a pairing that even the biggest heroes in the DC Universe look up to. Therefore, there was a lot of anticipation surrounding Sue's debut in the Arrowverse.

For a while now, Ralph has been searching for the missing socialite on The Flash, and his quest finally reaches an end in the episode, "A Girl Named Sue" -- but for fans the story is just starting. As a matter of fact, the TV-version of Sue Dearbon is not what anyone expected. She's not just a socialite like she was in the comics. On the show, she is a skilled cat burglar, deceptive and dangerous. And the dynamic between Ralph and her is so fun and refreshing that it already has us begging for a spinoff starring the two characters.

Ralph Dibny's investigation into Sue Dearbon took up the bulk of The Flash's latest episode, offering a little break from the usual story we've seen unfold over the course of the show's current season. With Sue back in Central City, Ralph quickly finds her, and before long, he teams up with her to save her from her evil ex-boyfriend. However, little does he know that Sue is actually using Ralph to get what she wants -- a diamond which, as we later learn, is somehow connected to the Black Hole group.

Throughout their caper across Central City, Ralph and Sue prove to be a breath of fresh air in the Arrowverse. Actors Hartley Sawyer and Natalie Dreyfuss have great chemistry together that creates a fun and passionate bond between their characters. The pair have an amazing rapport and it translates to exchanges that are both surprising and earnest. Better yet, their relationship is unique, and there is plenty of room for them to grow -- both individually and as a couple.

Yes, Sue may have been manipulating Ralph the whole time, but we already know, thanks to Cecile, that she truly feels an attraction to the Elongated Man. Clearly, Sue isn't all bad, and she may have a heart of gold hidden underneath her cat burglar outfit.

The dynamic between the two characters, as well as the inspired change to Sue Dearbon, make for the perfect setup for a whole new story. Ralph may have found Sue, but his troubles are just beginning -- now, he has to find her all over again. And we imagine that, little by little, each will chip away at the armor of the other, until they accept their feelings for one another. That can happen as Ralph, the hero, chases Sue, the thief. The characters currently have a fun Batman/Catwoman-like relationship that could be the source of plenty of entertaining escapades -- either on The Flash or on their own separate series.

After "Crisis on Infinite Earths," the Arrowverse began anew. Now, with Arrow done and the future of its potential spinoff Green Arrow and the Canaries still in question, there might be room for another new Arrowverse series to contribute to this fresh start. And The CW has the perfect couple on its hands for such a show: Ralph and Sue.

Airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer.
