According to Entertainment Weekly, the actress will debut in the fifth episode of Season 4, titled "Girls Night Out," part of a mini-crossover with Arrow that features Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak.

Created by Geoff Johns and Ethan van Sciver, Blacksmith was introduced in 2001's The Flash: Iron Heights #1. On The CW drama, as in the comic books, Blacksmith is Amunet Black, the tough-as-nails boss of a black market for supervillains. "Amunet uses every means possible, including the long list of metahumans under her thumb, to ensure her illicit enterprise thrives," EW explains.

In comics lore, Blacksmith possesses the superhuman ability to mold metal and merge it with flesh. A brilliant strategist, she forms a new version of the Rogues, with the goal of taking control of Central and Keystone cities.

Returning Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow and Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West.
