The Flash's Star Kryptonian

The long-delayed DC film has been confirmed to adapt the popular Flashpoint storyline from the comics, which will feature Barry Allen traveling to the past to prevent his mother’s death. However, when things didn’t go as planned, Barry suddenly finds himself trapped in an alternate reality where there are no metahumans and General Zod has returned to destroy Earth. In this timeline, Kal-El wasn’t discovered by the Kents, but has instead become a lab-rat in an underground government facility. The trailer seemingly confirmed that Calle’s Supergirl will be taking over Superman’s role in Barry Allen’s mission to restore the timeline.
