SPOILER WARNING: This article contains spoilers for "Shade," the latest episode of "The Flash."

In "Shade," the latest episode of "The Flash," Barry was able to organize a surprise ambush against Doctor Alchemy, who tried to lure Wally West to his lair and got the whole Central City Police Department instead. However, Barry got a little more than he bargained for when another villain emerged from the darkness: Savitar.

Savitar -- the speedster who calls himself "the God of Speed" -- has officially arrived on "The Flash." Just as Doctor Alchemy suffered a defeat at the hands of the Flash and the CCPD, Barry noticed a shock of blue lightning out of the corner of his eye. That blue lightning took shape as Savitar, who has the ability to move faster than any speedster Barry has encountered. Savitar made short work of the CCPD and toyed briefly with Flash before slamming him against the ceiling, which is right where the episode ended.

As seen in the screenshot below, Savitar looks a little different than his comic book counterpart. The CW's version of the character is covered head-to-toe in what looks to be silver armor, which effectively hides his identity. It seems, then, we'll have to wait a little longer to discover who Barry's nemesis really is.

As all the action went down around him, Wally took his fate into his own hands. During the CCPD ambush, Doctor Alchemy dropped the gem he had used to attack the Flash. As if he were drawn to it, Wally slowly crossed the room and picked it up. Immediately, he was consumed by a gel-like substance and left in a pulsing red cocoon, in much the same way as "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" Inhumans when they undergo Terrigenesis. Though the episode didn't show what came of Wally, it seems very likely the show will have a new speedster on its hands sometime soon.

Starring Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster, "The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale and more.
