"The Flash" Speeds By "Agents of SHIELD" in Tuesday's TV Ratings

The CW's "The Flash" outpaced ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." on TV's weekly Tuesday night superhero lineup, as "The Flash" mustered a 1.5 rating in adults 18-49 over "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" 1.4 rating.

According to TV By the Numbers, the new rating pushes "The Flash" up 15% from last week's ratings, while "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." saw a series low with a 13% decrease. Nevertheless, "The Flash" pulled in 3.84 million viewers, where "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." had 4.46 million.

The CW's other comic book based show, "iZombie," also saw a 17% rating increase this week, rising to 0.7 from last week's 0.6 with 1.77 million viewers. Where "The Flash" and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." are based on existing popular franchises from Warner Bros. and Marvel Studios, "iZombie" is loosely adapted from the lesser known Vertigo series by Chris Roberson and Mike Allred.

"The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 pm EST and "iZombie" at 9 pm EST on The CW. "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs the same day at 9 pm EST on ABC.
