Looks like Wally West could be zooming onto CW's "The Flash."

During the panel for the show at PaleyFest 2015, showrunner Greg Berlanti fielded a fan's question about whether West or Bart Allen might appear on the show. "That's our hope," Berlanti responded. "And we've already been picked up for a second season so I think if we were going to do something like that, we would do it next season."

This isn't the first time the show's executive producers have discussed the possibility of featuring an. African-American Flash on the show. "We made the Wests African-American so that we could ultimately head in that direction, absolutely," Berlanti said in a September Paley Center event reported on at the time by ComicBook.com. "That's our hope."

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg added in September that it was indeed the show that led to West's character being reintroduced as African-American in the comics. "What's very cool is in the New 52 they hadn't reintroduced Wally [yet]," Kreisberg said. He said that because DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns was working on the show, "when they reintroduced Wally, they made him African-American. So now and forever, Kid Flash will be African-American."
