A new behind-the-scenes photo from The Flash's final season hypes the show's forthcoming Arrowverse reunion.

On Instagram, Arrow alum David Ramsey shared a picture from The Flash Season 9's set in downtown Vancouver. Ramsey is seen in-costume as John Diggle/Spartan. He is joined by series lead Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/the Flash, returning star Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash and, last but not least, Arrow lead Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow. "Congratulations to Team Flash for nine incredible seasons," Ramsey wrote. "But most importantly.. thank ALL OF YOU for your undying support for this universe. None of this is possible without you! Enjoy the mashup you had no idea you needed!"

The Flash Comes Full-Circle

Following a near decade-long run, Arrow spinoff The Flash is slated to debut its ninth final season on The CW on Wednesday, Feb. 8. The Flash Season 9 features a number of returning stars from the show's past, including the aforementioned Lonsdale as Wally West, as well as Sendhil Ramamurthy as Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork.

As far as characters from the larger Arrowverse are concerned, Amell is set to reprise his iconic role of Oliver Queen following the character's death in the final season of Arrow (though the circumstances of the Green Arrow's resurrection remain to be seen). Amell will be joined by Ramsey, who starred alongside him as John Diggle in all eight seasons of the Arrowverse mothership series. The Flash Season 9 will also feature the return of Supergirl alum Nicole Maines as Nia Nal/Dreamer. Moreover, former Batwoman lead Javicia Leslie is expected to take on the role of Red Death, DC's multiversal hybrid of Batman and the Flash.

"But when a deadly group of Rogues descends on Central City led by a powerful new threat, The Flash and his team... must once again defy impossible odds to save the day. A deadly new adversary rises to challenge Barry Allen's heroic legacy. And in their greatest battle yet, Barry and Team Flash will be pushed to their limits, in order to save Central City one last time."
