"The Flash" Reveals Zoom's Secret Weapon

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "The Runaway Dinosaur," tonight's episode of "The Flash."

While Barry was occupied with the Speed Force and Team Flash dealt with Girder, Zoom continued his plans for Earth-1 domination. "The Runaway Dinosaur," the most recent episode of "The Flash," revealed that he has amassed an army of Earth-2 metahumans on Earth-1 for his nefarious purposes.

At the end of the episode, Zoom offered Caitlin a choice: stand with him or go back to her friends -- but, if she chooses the latter, he will show them no mercy. He left her to consider these options and walked out onto the balcony above the Central City Police Department lobby. As the camera panned down, it revealed a veritable army of metahumans from Earth-2. It seems these allies plan to help Zoom on his conquest of Earth-1. Black Siren, Earth-2's version of Black Canary, will likely be one of these metahumans.

Barry also had a nice chat with the Speed Force, which challenged him to find himself and let go of his guilt over not saving his mother in the season one finale. His sojourn into the Speed Force also restored his powers, which he then used to stop Girder once and for all.

Barry wasn't the only one affected by the Speed Force. Jesse's encounter with it put her into a coma, much like Barry's own first tet-a-tet with the Speed Force. Fortunately for Team Flash, Barry used his magic touch to wake Jesse up; their shared connection with the Speed Force enabled him to do so. This implies that Jesse will soon come into her own as a Speedster.

Starring Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes and Jesse L. Martin, "The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 pm EST on The CW.
