SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Fast Lane," the most recent episode of "The Flash."

It's no secret that Team Flash is headed to Earth-2. However, until "Fast Lane," it wasn't entirely clear why they planned to make the jump. As it turns out, Team Flash stands with Harrison Wells -- and they plan to help him get Jesse back once and for all.

In "Fast Lane," Wells finally fessed up and revealed he had secretly been working with Zoom to siphon away Barry's Speed Force. It wasn't a decision he made lightly, as his daughter Jesse's life hangs in the balance; he had even started to steal Barry's speed before he confessed. However, when Iris was seriously injured because Barry was no longer fast enough to save her, he couldn't keep it in anymore and spilled his secret, much to the team's dismay.

They immediately locked Wells up in the pipeline so they could discuss what to do with him. However, Barry took Wells' side and challenged the team to think about what they would have done had they been in Wells' shoes, bringing up how Cisco had once given away Barry's secret identity in order to protect his brother. As a team, they decide to help Wells recover Jesse, and that means a team trip to to Earth-2 in order to locate Zoom's headquarters.

Starring Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes and Jesse L. Martin, "The Flash" returns airs Tuesdays at 8 pm EST on The CW.
