Barry Allen and the real Iris West-Allen may be reunited soon, as a promo for the upcoming The Flash episode "Liberation" reveals that Mirror-Iris will be exposed as an impostor.

The promo begins with Barry realising that something has happened to Iris, leading to a confrontation with Mirror-Iris, during which Barry declares to her, "You're not my wife." As the promo draws to an end, Mirror-Iris tells Barry she'll show him who she really is. The final, suspenseful shot leaves audiences hanging with Barry looking in a mirror.

In the mid-season premiere of Season 6, Iris was abducted by Eva McCulloch and replaced with a mirror duplicate, who was recently ordered by Eva to make sure Barry uses up what little speed he has left after the death of the Speed Force. After cruelly kicking Barry out of his apartment at the end of this week's most recent episode, Barry now realizes that "Iris" isn't who she appears to be.

Showrunner Eric Wallace teased there would be consequences to this revelation some time ago, and if Mirror-Iris' last line in the promo is any indication, she may prove to be a very dangerous enemy for Barry.

Airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer.
