WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Into the Void," The Flash Season 6 premiere.

Since his debut in Season 4 of The Flash, Ralph Dibny, aka The Elongated Man, has proven himself to be a valuable asset to Team Flash, serving not only as comic relief but as a great friend and detective. What's more, showrunner Eric Wallace thinks the ductile detective could star in his own solo series alongside his wife and crime-fighting partner Sue.

In the Season 5 finale, Ralph was seen with a case file for one Sue Dearbon, the woman who would marry Ralph in the comics and whose disappearance he was still investigating in the Season 6 premiere. While teasing what Team Flash would experience in the current season, Wallace said, "Sue Dearbon will appear in the back half [of the season.]"

Wallace also confirmed the show's writers are already hard at work on the episode "where Sue first appears, and boy, are we having a blast because Sue’s such a delight." He then stated "without question" that he could see a spinoff focused on Ralph and Sue's adventures.

For now, though, Ralph seems to be right at home as a member of Team Flash.

Airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer.
