Barry Allen is set to gain a new power as teased in the synopsis for the upcoming second episode of The Flash Season 7, "The Speed of Thought,"  but another member of Team Flash has a problem with it.

According to the synopsis, when Barry gets the power of "speed thinking," he tries to use it to rescue Iris from the Mirrorverse. However, while the Fastest Man Alive is "thrilled with his new power," Cisco Ramon doesn't trust this new ability, though the reason for this isn't given by the synopsis. Meanwhile, Eva McCulloch (played by Efrat Dor) must deal with a "shattering truth," all of which will be revealed in this upcoming episode.
