Warner Bros. Pictures' upcoming DC Extended Universe film The Flash has officially wrapped production.

Director Andy Muschietti confirmed on Instagram that The Flash has finished shooting, sharing a moody photo from the film's set. "It's a wrap," he wrote. This announcement follows a previous Instagram post published shortly beforehand, in which the director thanked the film's cast and crew. "What an adventure. Thanks to all of the crew and cast of The Flash for giving it your best every single day," Muschietti wrote.

The announcement that The Flash has wrapped production comes just one day after the film dropped its first official teaser trailer at DC FanDome 2021. The teaser features Ezra Miller as two different versions of Barry Allen/the Flash and Sasha Calle as Supergirl. It also heralds Michael Keaton's long-awaited return as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

After spending years in development with multiple writers and directors boarding and subsequently exiting the project, The Flash finally entered production this past April with director Muschietti and screenwriter Christina Hodson at the helm. The film stars Ezra Miller, who reprises his role as Barry Allen from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, both versions of Justice League and The CW's Arrowverse crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths."

Miller is joined by two other returning DCEU stars: Kiersey Clemons, who reprises her role as Iris West from Zack Snyder's Justice League, and Ben Affleck, who reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman from Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad and both versions of Justice League.

The Flash features a number of DCEU newcomers as well, including the aforementioned Sasha Calle as Supergirl, as well as Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen and Ron Livingston as Henry Allen. Livingston replaces Billy Crudup, who previously portrayed Henry Allen in both versions of Justice League. Meanwhile, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Rudy Mancuso and Luke Brandon Field have all been cast in undisclosed roles.

Then, of course, The Flash is slated to feature the DC return of Michael Keaton as his own version of Batman. Keaton famously played the Dark Knight in the Tim Burton-directed films Batman and Batman Returns, which released in 1989 and 1992, respectively.

The Flash races into theaters on Nov. 4, 2022.
